Little Chef Workshops

- Mondays

Our Little Chefs Family Session on Saturdays is extremely popular, so we’re exploring bringing back Monday sessions - either a Family Session at 4–5pm or a Little Chef Drop-Off Club at 5:30–6:30pm.

If either option would suit your family, join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch if there’s enough demand to launch.

Dates/Timings:

Mondays - Little Chef Family Session at 4-5pm

Little Chef Drop Off Club at 5:30-6:30pm

SEN/D Cooking Club

We’re exploring the return of our SEN/D Cooking Club, a calm, supportive weekly session designed especially for children aged 5–11 with special educational needs and disabilities.

Each workshop provides a gentle, sensory-friendly environment where children can explore ingredients, follow simple recipes, and develop essential kitchen skills at their own pace. Families stay and work together, creating a safe, reassuring space filled with cooking, confidence-building, and shared moments.

If a Thursday 5:30–6:30pm session would suit your family, please join the waitlist. If there’s enough demand, we’ll be in touch to confirm whether the club is viable.

Dates/Timings:

Workshops on Thursdays at 5:30-6:30pm during term time

Why bring your child to a Creative Kitchen Workshop?

We're passionate about engaging children in cooking and believe in the many benefits of starting young:

  • Helps combat fussy eating: Exposure to different foods and the cooking process can encourage children to try new things.

  • Develops fine motor and hand-eye coordination: Working with utensils and ingredients enhances these crucial skills.

  • Promotes healthy eating habits: Children learn about nutrition and make healthier choices when involved in food preparation.

  • Aids sensory exploration: Cooking engages all the senses, from touching different textures to smelling delicious aromas.

  • Develops confidence and independence: Successfully creating a dish boosts self-esteem and encourages self-reliance.

  • Supports language and communication development: Workshops provide opportunities for children to learn new vocabulary and interact with others.

  • Allows for quality family time: Cooking together can be a fun and rewarding shared experience.

  • Encourages creativity and practical thinking: Cooking inspires children to experiment, solve problems, and think independently.

It’s a whole load of tasty fun! Above all, we strive to make learning about food enjoyable and memorable.
