Service Description

Food Explorers Academy is a fun and engaging cooking programme for primary-aged children aged 8–12 years who love discovering new foods and flavours. Each academy day takes young chefs on a culinary adventure as they explore a different cuisine and culture from around the world. Children can attend individual sessions or join us for all 4 for the full academy experience. During each session, young chefs will create a delicious savoury dish and sweet treat from scratch whilst learning a range of practical cooking skills. They will develop techniques including weighing and measuring, chopping, mixing, preparing, cooking and presentation, all within a safe, supportive and age-appropriate environment. A healthy light lunch and snacks are included each day. Every participant will leave with their completed cooking creations, recipe cards and a certificate celebrating the skills they have developed throughout the session. Suitable for children 8-12 years Sessions take plae on Tuesday 21st and 28th July, 4th and 11th August 2026 at 10:00-12:00pm Please note this is a drop- off session only.

Cancellation Policy

Creative Kitchen Booking Policy By booking a session, workshop, or membership with Creative Kitchen, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions: 1. Bookings, Payments & Confirmations • All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. • A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are limited and secured on a first-come, first-served basis. • Memberships and term bookings cannot be paused, suspended, or extended. 2. Missed Sessions & Cancellations • If you are unable to attend a session, that session will be forfeited. Missed sessions will not be refunded, credited, or rescheduled. • For members: “If you miss a class, you miss a class.” No catch-up or replacement classes will be offered. • If Creative Kitchen cancels a session, we will notify you as early as possible and offer you a catch-up session where possible. • Membership access (including access to any members-only areas) will automatically expire at the end of each calendar month unless renewed. • To cancel your membership, please email us at info@creative-kitchen.co.uk. Cancellations take effect at the end of the month in which you notify us. You will retain access to all remaining sessions for that month, but no refunds will be given for unused sessions. 3. Allergies & Dietary Requirements • We do cater for allergies and other dietary requirements, but you must inform us via the booking form at the time of payment. • While we take every precaution to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Our kitchens regularly handle ingredients such as nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. 4. Behaviour & Conduct • All participants are expected to behave respectfully and safely during sessions. • If a participant behaves in a way that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, Creative Kitchen reserves the right to remove them from the session without refund or recourse. 5. Photography • We may occasionally take photos during sessions for promotional purposes. • If you do not wish to have yourself or your child photographed, please let us know in person at the start of the session. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
