Student Survival Sessions
Heading off to university or moving out for the first time? Our Student Survival Workshops are designed to set you up with the essential skills you’ll need to thrive, not just survive - on your own.
In these sessions, we cover more than just how to boil pasta (although we’ll make sure you do that right too!). You’ll learn how to:
Plan and cook budget-friendly, nutritious meals
-
Master one-pot dishes, batch cooking, and freezer-friendly options
-
Avoid food waste and shop smart at the supermarket
-
Understand basic kitchen safety and hygiene
-
Make easy versions of student favourites - from fajitas to fakeaways
-
Read food labels, meal prep efficiently, and manage your weekly food budget
Whether you join us in-person, online, or through our pre-recorded online content, you’ll gain real-life kitchen confidence and practical tips that will stick with you far beyond your first term. Workshops are fun, informal, and tailored to absolute beginners - perfect for students who want to take control of their health, wallet, and weekly dinners.
